It was sent by certified mail to a southern state. All of the other checks arrived within 2 days. As of 2 weeks the one in question was nowhere to be seen (or cashed). After having many a conversation with the post office in that town, he was about to throw up his hands in defeat and stop payment on the check before writing another one. Just then the check arrived. I wondered just where it had been for 2 weeks -- perhaps riding around with the mail carrier because he didn't want to deal with having to get a signature?<br /><br />I hope your money comes soon.
