When I was there last year, my hotel was just two blocks from the British Museum and I spent one whole day wandering among it's treasures. I also had lunch there in that wonderfully bright dining room under the glass dome. From there, a walk to Covent Garden sounds like a perfect way to cap the day. I hope you having more fun on the streets of London today!Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07645915869786296771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5123631695572626256.post-28049288148716745362017-12-28T16:22:50.965+00:002017-12-28T16:22:50.965+00:00I remember discovering the British Museum on my fi...I remember discovering the British Museum on my first day in London on a short walk from our hotel (the Great Russell) and on another day we visited Covent Garden but I hadn't realized how near they were to each other. We humans certainly have always been fascinated by the creatures we share our planet, our lives with. I think about the earliest cave drawings and the beautiful animals there. You can tell that the Egyptians loved their cattle.
You are absolutely right about the pigs, too!
I just googled-imaged "Egyptian cat with earrings."
I would do that although my cat would kill me.
Ms. Moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09776404747858099919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5123631695572626256.post-63309909817142583832017-12-28T10:34:13.802+00:002017-12-28T10:34:13.802+00:00Great stuff Steve!
