Just when you thought it was safe -- more Olga-cam!
This video, made with our GoPro camera, shows a normal morning walk around our neighborhood. We leave the house, walk around the corner to busy Finchley Road, and then walk down an adjacent street, through a housing estate, along a pedestrian path to the high street, and then back home again.
Along the way we encounter various piles of trash (there are perpetually piles of trash lying around -- one of the curses of living in a big city, I suppose), we see two guys pushing a car onto a flatbed truck, we spar with a cat beneath a door, we drink from a dog bowl outside a bakery, we chase pigeons outside Tesco, we think about going into Sainsbury's, and we look for our nemesis through a hole in a gate.

ReplyDeleteThat was AMAZING! I never knew how hard stairs were, when you're only two feet off the ground. My favorite parts were the black and white paws at the 3:05 mark, and all the times sweet Olga stopped the world to catch a scent or a foe. This was so much fun to watch -- thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love how you stop and let her satisfy her never-ending curiosity over and over again. She pays attention to every smell, doesn't she? What a happy dog.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, that was fun. I love it when she shakes and the camera goes kind of wild. I enjoyed the little sparring match with the cat and how she contemplated going into the grocery store. What fun!
