Steps
For once, I'm on the bandwagon for Theme Thursday, thanks to a well-timed reminder from Kim. Today's theme is steps, and since I often photograph steps while wandering around the city, I happened to have a few such pictures lying around.
Last night I watched Andy Warhol's film "Flesh." I'd never seen any of Warhol's movies. I can't say the plot was exactly riveting, but Joe Dallesandro certainly held my interest. To quote Lou Reed:
Little Joe never once gave it away
Everybody had to pay and pay
I'm sure they did, too! Unsurprisingly, many of the actors seemed extremely stoned. Ah, the '60s.

Love the step pics!
ReplyDeleteI've seen all of Andy Warhol's movies. (Should I admit that in public?) Though I haven't seen any of them since I stopped smoking weed. I wonder if they would be boring now? I should give it a try.
R: I haven't smoked pot in about 15 years, but I have no doubt it would make the movie an entirely different experience!
ReplyDeleteLove the steps, they look so smooth and then the shadows decorate them, in an elegant way.
ReplyDeleteyeah team!!! yeah steve!!

did you watch andy's film in honor of his birthday? it was yesterday - had it not also been hiroshima day, I might have recognized it since I'm still on this birthday binge!
