My husband is a printer so that's why I can tell you that that your bookmark is a lenticular print. I think the technology is about 100 years old but, as you can see, it's still very effective.
That is very pretty. I can remember seeing prints like that when I was a kid. The most recent one I saw was about a week ago at a Halloween display, a portrait of people from the 1800's . . . that changed to a portrait of skeletons! It was creepy. I like that bookmark a whole lot better :)
Lol. Your fascination with the bookmark delights me more than the bookmark itself which is a little too reminiscent of the real thing for my reading pleasure.
Abandoned plants, yellow chairs and now a kid's very cool bookmark. I wonder what you will be salvaging next.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! The technology has really gotten a lot better! That's so cool!
ReplyDeletevery cool. I have a collection of bookmarks that I am going to do a post on eventually. just have to photograph them all.
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool! Those colorful lizards pop right off that little strip.
ReplyDeleteThat would freak me out!
