There's really not much to say about today's post...
...except that this is sometimes what our morning walks look like.
Don't worry. No cat were harmed in the production of this blog.
You've seen GoPro video of Olga stalking this cat behind the door. (She does it every single day.) Well, here's what it looks like from my perspective. There's about 40 seconds of stalking before there's any action.
In other news, Dave and I made plans to go to Salisbury for our October break. Woo hoo! We wanted to go somewhere relatively close where we could take the dog, and this seems to fit the bill. Hopefully all the Novichok will be cleaned up by then.
I'm always amazed when I see cats and dogs getting along together. Little Bo comes to us twice a week and all of the cats disappear for the duration of his stay and come skulking back out when they think its safe, and yet they seem to get on fine with the foxes. Maybe its because foxes are sort of a mix of dog and cat. who knows.

I love the way Olga's tail sticks up while waiting for the cat.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, will you have to pay for your stay in Salisbury or is the city council paying for it? I doubt that you will encounter any other tourists - maybe a couple of shadowy Russian guys with a perfume bottle.
This is an outstanding post. I love the cat behind the door, ever since s/he starred in Olga's Go Pro Dog's Eye View movie.
ReplyDeleteI like your shirt. Judging by the cuffs, it's very Keith Partridge.
Oh, Olga! Her dreams never die, do they?
ReplyDeleteOh the suspense!, Olga was certainly on the game there!,
ReplyDeleteit's probably one of the high points of her day, and the cat's too.
ReplyDeleteI visited Salisbury when I was there two years ago. The cathedral is spectacular and of course Stonehenge is a destination all it's own. But, the village of Salisbury is very pretty in it's own right. Just don't pick up any bottles of Nina Ricci perfume while you are there.
ReplyDeleteI love the end , when you walk on the interesting pathway/sidewalk. Beautiful colors of brick. Terrified cats...good thing they can fly!
ReplyDeleteIt looks to me like Olga may get a scratch on her nose from that cat behind the door. 'Course I'm a cat lover, as you know.
ReplyDeleteI love how Olga is nearly vibrating with anticipation! I'm glad there's a door between her and the cat, though.
ReplyDeleteThree cat morning sounds a bit different than Three Dog Night! lol
Very cute three cat morning you and Olga had there. The video is great!
ReplyDeleteI used to count the cats I would see when I was still able to take good walks in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI love Salisbury and hope that you and Dave have a good visit there. It is just a nice size small city that never felt overwhelming. The cathedral is magnificent and the walk along the river was lovely.
I just love that dogs begin each day anew with the same hopes that perhaps TODAY is the day I get the cat or the squirrel or whatever. It's so awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I looked back at this. It was totally worth the 40 seconds to get to the action!!
